Why Life Feels Difficult And What To Do About It?

Common Problems and how to deal with it
Lack of Money
It is easy to feel that if we could just get a few thousand more dollars – all our problems would be solved. However, you may find even if you won a thousand dollars, you would still want more. Life will always create money worries – the important thing is how to deal with them. Try to keep money in its proper place, don’t let it dominate your life. Take practical steps to improve your financial situation, but try also to be content with your current situation; it is a mistake to always feel that a lack of money is our most significant problem.

Lack of Motivation
Often we know what we should do, but, we feel no inclination to start. A lack of motivation means that we never try new things and life can easily become stale. A lack of motivation is related to a feeling of boredom and self doubt. There are many practical ways to overcome a lack of motivation; the most important thing is just to start new projects. Often when we make the initial first step, we realise it is not as difficult as we feared. It can also be important to set goals, if we make certain targets it becomes harder to find excuses and avoid doing it.

Problems keep repeating themselves
Quite often, when we solve or avoid a problem, it repeats itself through another person or another experience. This can be dispiriting because it seems we will never be able to gain peace of mind. The solution is not to keep trying to avoid the problem, when we have a defect in our character the problem will keep appearing. To resolve this kind of problem we need to take a fresh perspective and try to understand the underlying cause of the problem. This may require some honest self criticism. Look at your motives and thoughts and see whether you can approach issues from a different perspective.

Criticism from Others
Sometimes we try our best, but others never seem satisfied. This criticism can come from our boss, families or friends. If we try to make everyone happy we will never succeed; whatever we do, someone will always discover some reason to find fault. Instead we need to look carefully at how we deal with criticism. Some criticism is false, so we should ignore it and remain detached. If criticism is valid, we should seek to learn from it, without feeling guilty or a sense of injured pride.

Where is your Life Heading?

Some suggestions on how to look anew at the direction of your Life.
Are You doing what other people want you to do?
Either consciously or unconsciously we place great value on the expectations and peer pressure of other people. This may be our friends, families or just society. This kind of peer pressure can be very confining; it limits our aspirations and actions. However, there is no guarantee that what society expects from us is what our soul wants to do. Great innovators and thinkers have to go beyond the narrow confines of society. Never feel guilty for following your inner instincts and inner voice. If people disapprove, so be it. It is a mistake to our life be dictated by the aspirations of other people.

Do you have a sense of dissatisfaction?
Does life feel a constant grind, with limited chance for satisfaction? If there we have no newness in life, dissatisfaction inevitably comes. Avoid repeating the same old routines, especially if they offer no chance for creativity or personal satisfaction. Don’t be resigned to a life of boredom and negativity. Look to re-energise your life.
Do you feel Limited by Your Circumstances?
When things don’t go well; when we have a sense of dissatisfaction – we tend to blame society and external circumstances beyond our control. However, if we spend our time complaining and blaming other people, we become helpless and hopeless. Whatever hand fate deals we should not feel this is our final destination. We can shape and mold our destiny, we just have to be willing to take responsibility for our lives.

Do you have unfulfilled Dreams and Ambitions?
I know a few people in their 30s and they say. O I’ve made the wrong choices. I’ve lost my chance to do what I wanted. They are the best side of 40 and they already talk as if their life is over. If you have not followed your dreams, why not start doing it now? The fact that when we were young, we choose a different path doesn’t mean we should resign ourselves to this fate. There is no reason why we cannot change course. Take time to think what would really inspire you; what are the things you would like to do; who would you like to become? There is nothing more important that working out your inner and outer priorities. When you know what you would like to do, what is to hold you back?

Are You Stuck in Bad Habits?
Quite often, the main reason for heading nowhere in particular, is the fact we are stuck in bad habits. These are habits that limit our perspectives and outlook on life. The problem is that after a while, we feel that these habits have become part of ourself. Because we associate ourselves with our habits, we feel powerless to change them. However, it is possible to take a new direction; with determination we can free ourselves from bad habits.

Quotes About Life

Quotes about Life
Tell me not, in mournful numbers,Life is but an empty dream! For the soul is dead that slumbers, and things are not what they seem.Life is real! Life is earnest! And the grave is not its goal;Dust thou art; to dust returnest,Was not spoken of the soul.

People travel to wonder at the height of the mountains, at the huge waves of the seas, at the long course of the rivers,at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motion of the stars, and yet they pass by themselves without wondering.

The aim of life is to live a divine life. We are living in this world. We know that man does not live by bread alone. He needs the soul in order to live in the world of God's Reality. The soul alone has the capacity to see and feel the known and the Unknown, the existent and the non-existent, the dream of the past, the achievement of the present and the hope of the future.

Let us accept the inner life, the spiritual life. Mistakes in our journey are inevitable. Success without endeavour is impossibility itself. No work, no progress. Experience we must welcome, for we can learn nothing without experience. The experience may be either encouraging or discouraging. But it is experience that makes us a real being, that shows us the true meaning of our very existence

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.Life is beauty, admire it.Life is bliss, taste it.Life is a dream, realize it.Life is a challenge, meet it.Life is a duty, complete it.Life is a game, play it.Life is a promise, fulfill it.Life is sorrow, overcome it.Life is a song, sing it.Life is a struggle, accept it.Life is a tragedy, confront it.Life is an adventure, dare it.Life is luck, make it.Life is too precious, do not destroy it.Life is life, fight for it.

Life can be found only in the present moment. The past is gone, the future is not yet here, and if we do not go back to ourselves in the present moment, we cannot be in touch with life

How to discover your life purposes?

How do you discover your real purpose in life?
I’m not talking about your job, your daily responsibilities, or even your long-term goals. I mean the real reason why you’re here at all — the very reason you exist.
Perhaps you’re a rather nihilistic person who doesn’t believe you have a purpose and that life has no meaning. Doesn’t matter. Not believing that you have a purpose won’t prevent you from discovering it, just as a lack of belief in gravity won’t prevent you from tripping. All that a lack of belief will do is make it take longer, so if you’re one of those people, just change the number 20 in the title of this blog entry to 40 (or 60 if you’re really stubborn). Most likely though if you don’t believe you have a purpose, then you probably won’t believe what I’m saying anyway, but even so, what’s the risk of investing an hour just in case?

If you want to discover your true purpose in life, you must first empty your mind of all the false purposes you’ve been taught (including the idea that you may have no purpose at all).
So how to discover your purpose in life? While there are many ways to do this, some of them fairly involved, here is one of the simplest that anyone can do. The more open you are to this process, and the more you expect it to work, the faster it will work for you. But not being open to it or having doubts about it or thinking it’s an entirely idiotic and meaningless waste of time won’t prevent it from working as long as you stick with it — again, it will just take longer to converge.

Take out a blank sheet of paper or open up a word processor where you can type (I prefer the latter because it’s faster).
Write at the top, “What is my true purpose in life?”
Write an answer (any answer) that pops into your head. It doesn’t have to be a complete sentence. A short phrase is fine.
Repeat step 3 until you write the answer that makes you cry. This is your purpose.
That’s it. It doesn’t matter if you’re a counselor or an engineer or a bodybuilder. To some people this exercise will make perfect sense. To others it will seem utterly stupid. Usually it takes 15-20 minutes to clear your head of all the clutter and the social conditioning about what you think your purpose in life is. The false answers will come from your mind and your memories. But when the true answer finally arrives, it will feel like it’s coming to you from a different source entirely.
For those who are very entrenched in low-awareness living, it will take a lot longer to get all the false answers out, possibly more than an hour. But if you persist, after 100 or 200 or maybe even 500 answers, you’ll be struck by the answer that causes you to surge with emotion, the answer that breaks you. If you’ve never done this, it may very well sound silly to you. So let it seem silly, and do it anyway.
As you go through this process, some of your answers will be very similar. You may even re-list previous answers. Then you might head off on a new tangent and generate 10-20 more answers along some other theme. And that’s fine. You can list whatever answer pops into your head as long as you just keep writing.
At some point during the process (typically after about 50-100 answers), you may want to quit and just can’t see it converging. You may feel the urge to get up and make an excuse to do something else. That’s normal. Push past this resistance, and just keep writing. The feeling of resistance will eventually pass.
You may also discover a few answers that seem to give you a mini-surge of emotion, but they don’t quite make you cry — they’re just a bit off. Highlight those answers as you go along, so you can come back to them to generate new permutations. Each reflects a piece of your purpose, but individually they aren’t complete. When you start getting these kinds of answers, it just means you’re getting warm. Keep going.
It’s important to do this alone and with no interruptions. If you’re a nihilist, then feel free to start with the answer, “I don’t have a purpose,” or “Life is meaningless,” and take it from there. If you keep at it, you’ll still eventually converge.
When I did this exercise, it took me about 25 minutes, and I reached my final answer at step 106. Partial pieces of the answer (mini-surges) appeared at steps 17, 39, and 53, and then the bulk of it fell into place and was refined through steps 100-106. I felt the feeling of resistance (wanting to get up and do something else, expecting the process to fail, feeling very impatient and even irritated) around steps 55-60. At step 80 I took a 2-minute break to close my eyes, relax, clear my mind, and to focus on the intention for the answer to come to me — this was helpful as the answers I received after this break began to have greater clarity.

Isn’t there more to life than this struggle with my body?

Health means Wealth
One of the greatest blessings in life is to be in good health. Many people who have it do not give much thought because it is not a problem to them. We can take our good health for granted when, in fact, it is truly a blessing. I know that we cannot ensure good health but there are steps that we can take to do our best to facilitate health in our lives.
The first step is that we should eliminate actions that cause illness. The Bible says that you will reap what you sow. So, if you are living a life style that diminishes your health then you should not be surprised at all if illness and disease result. People who work hard, play hard, and are hard on their bodies will experience an eventual breakdown of their health. Our bodies are not designed to be abused. But, if you take the time to rest, to allow your body time to heal and to be replenished with proper nourishment and sleep, then you can do your part in eliminating some illnesses.

We should deal appropriately with stress, maintain a healthy lifestyle, control our eating habits, and exercise.

The second step is that we can turn to physicians for help. Doctors are trained in dealing with illness and can prescribe the appropriate actions and medicines to help us. If our illness can be helped, they will know how to do it.
The third step is that we can turn to Jesus, the Great Physician. When we consider the topic of health from a theological perspective, we must remember that Jesus Christ came to earth to “heal those who needed healing.” Jesus is the Son of God and has the power to heal over time or to heal instantaneously.

But, when Jesus heals, He heals our bodies, gives us a new heart, and transforms our minds. In other words, He heals completely and thoroughly. The other aspect of Jesus’ healing is that He heals according to His will and purpose. He is not your servant who jumps into actions when you snap your fingers at Him. He brings healing to help you but also to show you that He will heal all of you as well. Complete healing is offered to you, if you will ask.
Sometimes healing is immediate while at other times His healing takes time. But, even then, He will walk through your trial with you.
You can take the road from illness to health by eliminating those actions that led to the illness, by following the directives of your doctor, and … most importantly, by turning your need over to Jesus.

Do you have face the problem in your life? "or"Do you feel the sting of rejection?

Do your closest friends and even family push you away or mistreat you?
I think that every emotionally healthy person wants to love and to be loved. We want people to love us as we are. We want to feel accepted no matter what we may say or do. When we make a mistake, we want to be forgiven. We want to be loved unconditionally.
A problem comes though when we do not reciprocate unconditional love. For example, there will never be genuine love expressed between two people if both individuals are seeking to have their needs met. How can two people make a relationship work if both define love as, “if you love me then you will do what I want”?

There is only one person who can truly love you unconditionally. His name is Jesus. See, God is perfect and demands perfection from us. But, we all have fallen short of living a perfect life and that is called sin. The penalty for sin is death. But, this penalty is too great for us to pay! The Bible says that God demonstrated His love to us in this that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus laid down His life for us as the ultimate act of unconditional love.
He accepts us for who we are, for what we have done, and even for what we have neglected to do. But, now He is asking us to accept Him unconditionally as well. He wants us to accept His love by giving to Him our heart, mind, soul, and strength. He wants all of us. When we give ourselves over completely to Jesus then we are “fully known, fully accepted, fully loved, fully valuedJesus will never leave you, quit on you, belittle you, or even condemn you. Did you know that the Bible says that Jesus did not come into the world to condemn the world but to save the world? He came to give love unconditionally.
Once we experience Hislove, we must step forward quickly to embrace it. The Bible provides an excellent description of unconditional love and gives us a pattern to follow. Here is an example,
“Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, … Love rejoices with the truth. Love believes and endures all things. Love never fails.”

, and fully celebrated.”

The longing of your heart to be loved unconditionally can be fulfilled only through Jesus Christ. You must admit your sin, believe in Jesus, and follow His ways. If you do, you will experience unconditional love. Once you have experience unconditional love, you are then able to give love unconditionally as well.

Are you overcome by your Guilt in Your LIfe?

Do you need to learn how to forgive and be forgiven?
It really is true that we have all made mistakes. We all have done something that causes us to feel guilty. Maybe we cheated on a test in school, or told a lie to someone who deserved the truth, or hurt someone we loved. The fact is, no one has ever measured up to integrity absolutely. The result is that we feel guilty for not acting the way we should have acted.
Guilt brings feelings of shame, of frustration, and of internal conflict in our soul. There are many ways to deal with these emotions. You can deflect the guilt onto someone else… “it wasn’t my fault” or “I had no other choice”
You can try to minimize the impact of what you have done …… “everyone else is doing it.” or “sure it happened, but it’s not like I killed somebody.”
You can try to do something positive to outweigh the damage. Maybe you give money to a charity, you donate blood, or you help an old lady cross the street. You hope that your good works will override your guilt and then you can feel good about yourself again. But, the truth is that until you deal with the guilt, you will ever be freed from shame and the consequences of your actions.
I am here to tell you that there is hope! There is someone who can take away the guilt by forgiving you and set you back on your life journey with a clean slate. That person is Jesus Christ. See, rightfully you and I deserved to pay the penalty for our sins that cause our guilt. But, the penalty for sin is death. But, God didn’t create us to destroy us! If everyone who sinned suffered the rightful penalty, which is death, then we’d all be dead and there would be no one alive with whom God can relate. So, instead He sent His Son, His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to take all the sins of humanity and to die on our place. But, the amazing aspect of this is that Jesus Christ then rose from death and came back to life. Death could not stop him!
What this means to you and me is that we can take our sins and our guilt and give them over to Jesus. He alone is worthy to forgive us of our sins and to transform our hearts and minds. He alone can give you freedom!
Believe me, the guilt and shame will come back at you but you can reject those old feelings. Once you are forgiven that guilt becomes false guilt because God no longer holds you accountable. When you allow Jesus into your heart and to take control of your life, you can become a new person. You can feel good about yourself again! You can feel the purity of being a person of integrity. Instead of feeling shame, you can walk with confidence that you are forgiven. When we believe in Jesus, we become righteous in Him. Christ’s righteousness is God’s great gift to us.
